My name is Bobbi Dawn Rightmyer and I am the married mother of three daughters, two granddaughters and a grandson on the way. My work has been published in the following magazines or anthologies: Kentucky Monthly magazine, New Southerner magazine, Mercer’s Magazine, The Journal of Kentucky Studies, Speaking Out! Volume I and II, and New Southerner Literary Edition. I have self-published several chapbooks for poetry for myself, as well as my writing group, Nomadic Ink. My chapbooks include: Out of My Comfort Zone, Care and Feeding of Nightmares, and Bobbi’s Mercer Memories. Chapbooks for the writing group include: Prose and Poetry for Pets Volume I and II and Frights in the Night. My first book, Harrodsburg (Images of America), was released on August 8, 2011. I maintain several private blogs, in addition to the writing group blogs: Images of America: Harrodsburg, Bobbi Dawn Rightmyer , Bobbi’s Book Nook and My Muse and Me.
